2025 Grammy Awards: Tems, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido Shine in Historic Year (FULL LIST)

The Recording Academy has officially announced the nominees for the 2025 Grammy Awards, revealing a lineup that celebrates both international icons and rising stars across diverse musical genres.

Set to take place on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, this year’s Grammys will spotlight music released between September 16, 2023, and August 30, 2024.

Beyoncé leads the nominations with an impressive 11 nods for her album Cowboy Carter, which crosses genres from pop and rap to country and Americana.

With this achievement, Beyoncé now holds a record 99 Grammy nominations throughout her career, solidifying her historic impact on the music industry.

In an exciting move for African music, the Grammys introduced a new “Best African Music Performance” category. Nigerian artists Tems, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, and Davido are among the nominees, showcasing the growing influence of African music worldwide.

Tems leads the Nigerian contingent with three nominations, including a spot in the Best Global Music Album category alongside fellow Nigerian artist Rema.

This year’s Grammy nominations also highlight the impact of genres outside mainstream Western music, as the Recording Academy has revised several categories to “enhance the integrity and inclusivity” of the awards.

Other major nominees include Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Charli XCX, each securing multiple nominations.

The announcement was made by notable presenters like Hayley Williams, Gayle King, and Kylie Minogue, setting the stage for an eagerly awaited awards season.

Here is the full list of nominations, announced on Friday by the Recording Academy.
