Transfer: Man United Identify Six Players They Can’t Sell

As the January transfer window approaches, Manchester United are reshaping their strategy to tackle a challenging season. The club, currently positioned 13th in the Premier League, is undergoing a transitional phase after a turbulent first half of the campaign.

Following the mid-season dismissal of former manager Erik ten Hag, Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim has taken charge at Old Trafford. With his appointment, Amorim is reportedly looking to reinforce the squad but faces financial constraints. To bring in fresh talent, he may need to sell several players to fund new acquisitions.

According to a report by Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, six players have been labeled “untouchable” by the club. These players include Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro, and Andre Onana. Notably, Mazraoui, Yoro, and De Ligt joined Manchester United during the summer transfer window, signaling the club’s long-term confidence in their abilities.

Plettenberg also revealed that two or three additional players in the squad might hold “unsellable” status, though their identities remain undisclosed. This means most other squad members could be sold if suitable offers are received.
