Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has stated that nothing will stop him from winning the 2027 governorship election if he chooses to seek a second term.
The governor made this statement on Tuesday while receiving a delegation of traditional rulers and leaders from the Kalabari Ethnic Nationality, which includes three Local Government Areas in the state.
During the meeting, the delegation openly endorsed Governor Fubara for re-election, commending his leadership and dedication to development projects across the state. They particularly praised his administration’s efforts in infrastructure, including the ongoing ₦200 billion Trans-Kalabari Road Project, which is expected to boost economic growth and improve connectivity in the region.
Governor Fubara, in response, assured the delegation that his government remains focused on delivering real progress for the people of Rivers State. He noted that what truly matters in leadership is the impact made and the service provided, rather than the number of years spent in office.
