EPL: Arsenal’s Title Hopes Fade Further in 1-1 Draw at Man United

Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes suffered another setback as they played out a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday. Declan Rice’s late equalizer denied United a crucial win, but the result did little to help Arsenal’s fading title challenge.

United captain Bruno Fernandes put the hosts ahead with a stunning free-kick in first-half stoppage time. Arsenal, missing key attacking players, struggled to break through until Rice struck in the 74th minute, finishing from Jurrien Timber’s pass.

Goalkeeper David Raya redeemed himself with crucial second-half saves, keeping Arsenal in the game. United’s Rasmus Hojlund had chances to end his goal drought but was denied by Arsenal’s defense.

The draw leaves Arsenal 15 points behind league leaders Liverpool, making their title hopes slim. Meanwhile, United remain in 14th place, struggling under manager Ruben Amorim as fan frustration continues to grow at Old Trafford.
