Tinubu Meets with Obasa, Meranda, Other Lagos Lawmakers in Closed-Door Meeting at Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu held a private meeting with Lagos State lawmakers at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting, which took place behind closed doors, included Mudasiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, and other lawmakers from the state.

The lawmakers were seen arriving at the Presidential Villa in a Coaster bus at a few minutes past 2:00 pm (local time) on Wednesday. Security personnel quickly escorted them into the President’s office complex. However, Obasa arrived separately at about 3:00 pm, joining the group later.

Among those in attendance was Mojisola Meranda, who recently resigned as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly. She arrived with other lawmakers, while Obasa made his way to the meeting independently.
