President Bola Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast at 7 p.m. today, addressing the ongoing crisis in Rivers State.
This was confirmed in a statement released on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. The statement, titled “President Tinubu Broadcasts to the Nation,” announced that the address will be aired live on national television and radio.
“The NTA and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria will transmit the broadcast at 7 p.m.,” the statement reads. “All TV and radio stations are requested to link up with the broadcast.”
The speech comes amid rising tensions in Rivers State, where political and security issues have drawn national attention. The crisis has led to calls for government intervention, with citizens and political stakeholders eager to hear the President’s stance and possible resolutions.
