The daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, Love Ogah, has shared a disturbing memory from her teenage years involving a failed assassination attempt on her father, the well-known founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide.
Speaking during a recent church service, Ogah detailed how a group of armed men stormed their family home during her secondary school days. According to her, these men were not robbers or ordinary intruders—they openly declared that they came to kill her father.
“They searched everywhere, room to room, but couldn’t find him,” she recalled. The family, in a state of confusion and fear, watched as the attackers turned their home upside down in search of the clergyman.
Despite their efforts, the men reportedly left without finding Bishop Oyedepo. Ogah explained that, to their amazement, her father later emerged from within the house and told them something truly astonishing.
“After they left, my father came out and said he saw them the whole time — they just couldn’t see him. All of us were looking like it was a film trick,” she said.
She noted that Bishop Oyedepo claimed he was in the house the entire time and was watching the men move around. However, in a strange twist, the attackers could not see him even though he was physically present.
