In the early hours of Tuesday, unknown assailants launched a violent attack on the residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in Kogi State. The assault occurred at her family home in Obeiba-Ihima, located in the Okehi Local Government Area.
Reports reveal that the incident took place around 1:00 a.m. when at least three armed individuals, wielding cutlasses and firearms, descended on the residence. The Senator’s Chief Security Officer, Yakubu Ovanja, swiftly alerted local security authorities following the attack. Security operatives from the Okehi Division were quickly dispatched to the scene to assess the situation and ensure that further damage was prevented.
