Leicester Relegated After 1-0 Loss to Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold Seals Reds’ Win

Leicester City were relegated from the Premier League on Sunday after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at the King Power Stadium. The only goal of the match came from Trent Alexander-Arnold, who scored 14 minutes from time, sending Leicester down and keeping Liverpool’s title hopes alive.

Liverpool now need just one more win to secure their 20th league title, with Arsenal’s result against Crystal Palace on Wednesday crucial to their chances. Alexander-Arnold’s return from injury was timely, and his goal, following a scramble in Leicester’s box, sealed the victory for the Reds.

Leicester, having failed to score at home since December, struggled throughout the game, with a close effort from Wilfred Ndidi hitting the post. Their relegation marks a fall for a team that was crowned Premier League champions just nine years ago.
