Trossard’s Double Delays Liverpool’s Title Celebration in Arsenal’s 4-0 Rout of Ipswich

Arsenal gave Liverpool’s Premier League title hopes a delay with a dominant 4-0 victory over Ipswich Town on Sunday, with Leandro Trossard playing a key role in the Gunners’ first win in three league games.

Trossard scored twice, with Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri also finding the net in a comprehensive display at Portman Road.

Ipswich, already struggling near the relegation zone, played over half the match with 10 men after Leif Davis was sent off for a reckless challenge on Bukayo Saka.

Arsenal capitalized on their numerical advantage, with Martinelli opening the scoring in the 14th minute after a fine team move. Trossard added a second before halftime, and his clinical finish in the 69th minute sealed the win.

The victory pushed Ipswich closer to relegation, with the team now 15 points adrift of safety. Meanwhile, Arsenal remain second, 10 points behind leaders Liverpool.
