The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has urged loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and support his re-election in 2027, saying the President needs another term to finish what he started.
Keyamo made this call during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, where he spoke extensively on the achievements and ongoing plans of the Tinubu administration.
According to him, the economic policies and fiscal reforms already introduced by Tinubu are beginning to take shape, and a second term would allow the President to see them through.
He warned that if the current administration is interrupted after one term, the nation could suffer setbacks, as future governments may abandon or reverse Tinubu’s reforms.
“The most profound thing I will say here today is that every single APC member in this country today should be concentrating on the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, irrespective of whether it affects your personal interest or not,” he said.
Keyamo further explained, “It will be tragic for any government to come in 2027 and stop these reforms. This is what has happened in the past where you have all kinds of inchoate policies being implemented.”
