BREAKING: ‘All is Forgiven, It’s Over Now’ – Tinubu tells Sanwo-Olu Following Empowered Newswire Report

President Bola Tinubu on Saturday put an end to the quiet tension between himself and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stating publicly, “It’s all over now. All is forgiven.”

This development came after a private meeting held in Lagos with the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), a group of senior political leaders in the state.

The meeting, which took place behind closed doors, was focused on mending fences between the president and several Lagos political figures, with Sanwo-Olu being the central figure of the discussion.

Alhaji Tajudeen Olusi, the chairman of the GAC, led the delegation that met with Tinubu. He openly noted that there had been a period of tension between the president and some members of the Lagos political leadership.

“We acknowledge that the president has not been pleased with some of our actions, particularly those of the governor,” he said during the meeting.

Although the reason behind the initial disagreement was not clearly stated by anyone present, but EMPOWERED NEWSWIRE, in a previous REPORT, confirmed several possible reasons behind the rift. One of the leading theories involves the events surrounding the attempt to remove Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa.
