Letep Dabang, who served as the Political Adviser to Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has officially stepped down from his role in the state government.
In a resignation letter dated June 30, 2025, and addressed to the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Dabang announced his decision to leave his post. The letter, which was seen in Jos on Wednesday, marks a significant political move in the state.
“Please accept this letter as a formal notice of my resignation from my position as a Political Adviser,” the letter read.
Dabang also used the opportunity to reflect on his time in the administration, saying, “I appreciate the opportunities I have had to serve and contribute to the government of the day as political adviser, and also as the former Director General of the Plateau State Peoples Democratic Party presidential/governorship campaign council.”
“Thank you for the opportunity given, and I wish the government continued success,” he added.
