Protesters have gathered at the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos, to demand an end to economic hardship and poor governance. The demonstration, which began under the bridge in Ikeja, saw a large group of people marching together, voicing their concerns and frustrations.
By 11 a.m., the protesters had reached the park, a designated area for such gatherings as approved by the court. This location, known as the Gani Fawehinmi Park and Peace Park, is a significant site for peaceful protests in Lagos.
The protesters chanted, “All we are saying! End Bad Governance!” as they made their way through the streets. Their unified voices highlighted the growing dissatisfaction among many Nigerians who are struggling with economic challenges and what they perceive as ineffective leadership.
