I pray to have a son with Ebuka – BBNaija host’s wife, Cynthia

In a recent interview, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, wife of Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, shared her hopes for expanding her family. Cynthia revealed that she is praying for a son as her third child. The couple, who wed in February 2016, already have two daughters, Jeweluchi and Irubinachi.

During her appearance on the Mum’s Next Door podcast, Cynthia discussed her plans for growing her family. When asked about her desire for another child, she said, “Yes, I definitely want one more child. I have 2 girls now so my prayers will be to have a boy.”

The conversation also touched on Ebuka’s views about having more children. Cynthia clarified, “It is my decision. Not Ebuka’s decision.” She explained that while Ebuka initially wanted just one child, due to the high costs of raising a child, his perspective has changed.

“My husband actually wanted just one child because he wants to be able to give the child the best. He said school fees, everything is so expensive so one is fine. But now, he is obsessed with our children and I’m sure if we have the third he will equally be obsessed.”
