Chinese firm Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd. has decided to release one of the seized presidential jets for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s official visit to France. The firm revealed on Friday that it will allow the Nigerian president to use the Airbus A330, which has been held in France due to legal disputes.
This move is being described as a “goodwill gesture” by the company, in light of the upcoming meeting between President Tinubu and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The jet was previously seized under a French court order obtained by the Chinese firm Zhongshan, following a legal case. However, the company has decided to release one of the three seized aircrafts for Tinubu’s important diplomatic trip to France.
