Chelsea and Napoli are gearing up for crucial talks this Thursday to finalize the transfer of striker Romelu Lukaku. Napoli has formally bid for Lukaku, but their initial offer was rejected. According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, discussions are ongoing as both teams work out the details of the transfer.
Romano shared on X, “Napoli will meet Chelsea today in London as they want to get the Romelu Lukaku deal done even before finding a solution to sell Victor Osimhen. Official bid sent on Monday, not accepted but being discussed with terms and conditions… as Napoli want to get it done.”
The meeting is expected to address the terms of Lukaku’s move, with both sides confident that an agreement will be reached. Once Lukaku’s transfer is finalized, Napoli will shift their focus to resolving the situation with Victor Osimhen, who is anticipated to leave the Serie A club.
