JUST IN: NYSC Releases 2024 Batch B Call-Up Letters for Stream 2 Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released call-up letters for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 prospective corps members. The announcement was made public on Monday via the NYSC’s verified X (formerly Twitter) account, confirming the details for the upcoming orientation exercise.

The orientation camp for the Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 corps members will commence on August 28, 2024, and will run until September 17, 2024. During this period, corps members will undergo training, education on the program’s requirements, and preparation for their year of national service.

Interestingly, the NYSC also shared that some corps members initially assigned to Lagos State will attend their orientation camps in neighboring Ogun and Osun states.

Similarly, those posted to Zamfara State may be directed to participate in their orientation in either Kebbi or Sokoto states. This arrangement is designed to manage logistics and accommodate the large number of corps members.

Additionally, the NYSC advised all prospective corps members to print and sign an addendum document, which must be submitted during registration at the orientation camp. This step is mandatory to complete the registration process.

Earlier in July, NYSC released call-up letters for Stream 1 of the same Batch ‘B’. The orientation camp for those corps members took place between June 26 and July 1, 2024, with their swearing-in ceremony following on July 2, 2024.
