Nigerian music video director and cinematographer TG Omori, whose full name is ThankGod Omori Jesam, has provided an important health update following his kidney transplant. Known for his creative work in the Nigerian music industry, TG Omori reassured his supporters that he plans to return to the spotlight in 2025.

The talented director made this announcement through a series of posts on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, September 24, 2024. Along with a picture of himself, TG Omori shared a message of strength and resilience.

In his words, “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls.” He continued with another statement, saying, “Pain has no power over me. Hope the designer covers these scars.” His message ended with a promise, “I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!?”

In August 2024, TG Omori publicly revealed that he had undergone a kidney transplant. He credited his survival to his brother, who selflessly donated one of his kidneys to save Omori’s life. The surgery took place at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, where he received top-notch medical care.

Following the surgery, TG Omori faced some complications but has since been steadily recovering. He expressed his gratitude to God, stating that while he may not be able to show his appreciation with a backflip, he is committed to regaining his strength and overcoming these challenges.

The director also shared how touched he was by the outpouring of support from fans, family, and well-wishers during this difficult time. TG Omori expressed his eagerness to return to work in 2025, where he hopes to continue creating visually stunning music videos that have become his signature in the entertainment industry.
