Former President Buhari Sends Heartfelt Condolences to NNPCL MD Mele Kyari Over Daughter’s Death

Former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, has extended his condolences to Mele Kyari, the Group CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), following the death of his daughter, Fatima.

The tragic news has left many in mourning as the family grapples with the untimely loss.

Fatima Kyari, who passed away at the age of 25, had been battling a prolonged illness before she died on Friday. The sad event has drawn widespread sympathy from various quarters, as friends, colleagues, and well-wishers rally around the Kyari family in their time of grief.

A statement released on Saturday by Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu, conveyed the former president’s deep sense of shock and sorrow at the news.

He said, “I am shocked and deeply pained to learn about the passing away of your daughter, Fatima.

“It is very painful to accept that she has left the world at such a tender age, but Allah, who gave her to you, knows best. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences are with your family in this hour of intense grief.”
