Vice President Kashim Shettima has landed in Sweden for a significant two-day working visit, according to reports. The visit, which comes at the request of President Bola Tinubu, aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and promote discussions on key issues with high-level Swedish officials.
During his stay, Vice President Shettima will meet with Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, as well as Sweden’s Prime Minister.
The purpose of these meetings is expected to center around enhancing bilateral relationships between Nigeria and Sweden, exploring possible areas of cooperation, and discussing matters of mutual interest that could benefit both nations.
Accompanying the vice president on this diplomatic mission is an influential Nigerian delegation. The delegation includes Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and several other senior officials from Nigerian government agencies and parastatals.
