Afenifere Youth Leader Kidnapped in Abuja, Gunmen Demand N100m Ransom

The National President of the Afenifere Youth Council, Eniola Ojajuni, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Abuja. The attack took place on Monday, February 17, leaving Ojajuni with two gunshot wounds before he was taken away by his captors.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the National Secretary of the Afenifere Youth Council, Abiodun Aderohunmu, confirmed the incident, noting that the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N100 million for his release.

“The Afenifere National Youths Council is deeply saddened to announce the kidnapping of its National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja. During the attack, he sustained a gunshot wound, and we are extremely concerned about his safety,” the statement read.
