Bauchi State SSG Resigns, Chief of Staff Assumes Acting Role

The Secretary to the Government of Bauchi State, Ibrahim Kashim, has officially stepped down from his position, marking a significant shift in the state’s administrative structure.

Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, revealed this development through a press statement released on Friday. The statement confirmed that Governor Mohammed promptly accepted Kashim’s resignation, effective immediately.

In the wake of this announcement, the governor appointed Dr. Aminu Gamawa, the Chief of Staff at the Government House, to serve as the Acting Secretary to the State Government. This temporary arrangement is intended to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted governance in the state.

“Governor Bala Mohammed, on behalf of the government and the people of Bauchi State, appreciated him for the services he rendered to the State and wished him well in his future endeavours,” the statement read, reflecting the administration’s gratitude for Kashim’s contributions during his tenure.
