Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away at the age of 42.
She reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday, March 27, in the United Kingdom. The cause of her death has not yet been made public.
Until her passing, Bisola served as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu. She was known for her role in governance and her contributions to public service.
A former aide to the late Governor Ajimobi, Bolaji Tunji, confirmed the sad news, stating, “Yes, it has been confirmed.”
Bisola was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and her death is a huge loss to her family, friends, and colleagues. Many who knew her have described her as a dedicated and hardworking individual who was passionate about public service.
Her passing is another painful moment for the Ajimobi family, who lost their patriarch, Abiola Ajimobi, in 2020. His death, which occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic, was a significant loss to both his family and the political landscape in Oyo State.
