BREAKING: FG Declares April 18 & 21 Public Holidays for Easter

The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2025, as public holidays to mark Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced the decision on Tuesday, noting that the holidays are set aside for Christians to celebrate the Easter season.

While extending greetings to Christians nationwide, Tunji-Ojo noted the significance of the occasion, urging Nigerians to reflect on the sacrifice and love shown by Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection.

He encouraged citizens to promote peace, unity, and love during the celebrations.
