BREAKING: Kwara State Chief of Staff Abdulqadir Mahe Passes Away at 73

The Chief of Staff to the Kwara State Government, Prince Abdulqadir Mahe, has passed away at the age of 73. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq made the announcement on Saturday, describing Mahe as a distinguished gentleman and a dedicated public servant.

In his heartfelt message, Governor AbdulRazaq referred to Mahe as “a perfect gentleman, community leader, urbane public servant, and a statesman.”

The governor expressed his condolences to the Emir of Ilorin and the family of the late Chief of Staff. He prayed for Allah’s blessings upon Mahe, asking for his admittance into al-jannah Firdaus and for strength and comfort for his family.

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, who also serves as Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, shared his sorrow over Mahe’s death.

In a statement released by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir noted his shock at the news and described Mahe as a “diligent administrator and committed Prince of the Alimi dynasty.” He emphasized the significant loss to the Ilorin Emirate, highlighting Mahe’s contributions to the community and state.

The Emir extended his condolences to Mahe’s wife, children, friends, and associates, recognizing the profound void his passing leaves behind.
