On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu made significant changes to his cabinet by removing five ministers from their positions. The news was confirmed in a statement released by Dada Olusegun, the President’s Special Adviser on Social Media. The move is seen as part of the President’s effort to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of his administration.
The ministers who were dismissed include Uju-Ken Ohanenye, the Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, the Minister of Tourism; Prof. Tahir Mamman, the Minister of Education; Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, the Minister of Youth Development.
In the statement, Olusegun emphasized that these changes were made as part of President Tinubu’s commitment to fulfilling his promises to the Nigerian people. The President has approved eight new actions aimed at boosting the administration’s performance.
