BREAKING: Real Madrid Stars, Vinicius Jnr, Bellingham, Ancelotti To Snub Ballon d’Or Ceremony (DETAILS)

Real Madrid has decided not to attend the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony in Paris tonight, a decision that confirms the club’s belief that their star player, Vinicius Junior, will not be winning the prestigious accolade this year.

Reports suggest that no representatives from the LaLiga club, including players, coaches, or even high-ranking officials, will make an appearance at the event.

This notable absence signals Real Madrid’s sentiment towards the award outcome and their acknowledgment of the results beforehand.

The situation came to light when renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano posted about it on his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).

Romano stated: “BREAKING: Vinicius Jr will NOT travel to Paris as Real Madrid know he will NOT win the Ballon d’Or. No one from Real Madrid will attend the ceremony. No Florentino Pérez, no Vini Jr, no Carlo Ancelotti, no Jude Bellingham.”

The Ballon d’Or, awarded by France Football magazine, is one of the most prestigious individual honors in football, given annually to the player considered the best in the world.

However, it is widely believed that Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland are the frontrunners this year. Despite Vinicius Jr.’s standout performances for Real Madrid, it seems the club has resigned itself to the likelihood that he will not claim the top spot.

Vinicius Junior has had a notable season with Real Madrid, making significant contributions with his speed, skill, and goal-scoring abilities.

His impact on the field, especially after the departure of other key players, has been crucial in keeping Real Madrid competitive both in LaLiga and on the European stage. However, it appears that these efforts were not enough to secure the Ballon d’Or this year.

The absence of Real Madrid’s influential figures, including president Florentino Pérez, manager Carlo Ancelotti, and rising star Jude Bellingham, reflects the club’s stance on the anticipated outcome.

Such a move is unusual, as it is customary for clubs to have representatives at the Ballon d’Or ceremony, regardless of the outcome. The absence may also highlight Real Madrid’s focus on their current competitive season, rather than a ceremony they view as inconsequential to their objectives.
