President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with Vice President Kashim Shettima and Senate President Godswill Akpabio, are currently attending the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Summit taking place in Abuja today, May 22, 2025.
The event, which is being held at the State House, brought together top party leaders, ministers, lawmakers, governors, and other APC stakeholders from across the country. The summit aims to discuss the party’s progress so far, review its strategies, and prepare for future political contests at both state and national levels.
During the opening session, APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, addressed attendees and reflected on the party’s recent achievements. He noted that the APC has successfully retained control of the Presidency as well as the majority of seats in the National Assembly.
