BREAKING: Tobi Amusan Misses Out Of Olympics Women’s 100m Hurdles Final

Tobi Amusan, the world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, finished in third place during the semi-final of her event on Friday. This result has unfortunately risk her chances of qualifying automatically for the final round.

Amusan, who represents Team Nigeria, clocked a time of 12.55 seconds in heat 1 of the semi-final. This time was not enough to secure one of the top two positions needed for automatic advancement to the final.

As a result, she now faces an uncertain future, as she must hope to be selected as one of the best losers to secure a spot in the final.

Earlier in the week, Amusan had shown strong performance in the preliminary rounds, where she earned her place in the semi-finals by running a time of 12.49 seconds.

In that race, she finished ahead of USA’s Alaysha Johnson, who came in second with a time of 12.61 seconds, and Janeek Brown, who was third with a time of 12.84 seconds.
