Chelsea’s Late 2-1 Win Against Fulham Keep Champions League Hopes Alive

Chelsea secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, reviving their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season. Fulham took the lead in the 20th minute when Alex Iwobi capitalized on a strong assist from Ryan Sessegnon, who outmuscled Chelsea captain Reece James.

Chelsea seemed destined for defeat until substitute Tyrique George equalized with a powerful shot from the edge of the box in the 83rd minute. Then, in stoppage time, Pedro Neto sealed the comeback with a brilliant strike to give Chelsea their sixth win in 17 league games.

The win lifts Chelsea above Nottingham Forest into the top five, at least temporarily, while Manchester United suffered another disappointing home loss. Wolves, on the other hand, extended their winning streak to five games with a 1-0 victory over United, thanks to Pablo Sarabia’s stunning free-kick.
