The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is officially scheduled to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, featuring a new expanded format and more global representation than ever before. The opening match of the tournament will see American side Inter Miami face off against Egyptian club Al Ahly at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
This will be the biggest Club World Cup in FIFA history, involving 32 teams and a total of 63 matches. These games will be played across 11 host cities in the U.S., including Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, and others. The final will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 13.
The tournament will follow a group-stage and knockout format. The teams are divided into eight groups, each containing four clubs. Each team will play the others in its group once, with the top two advancing to the Round of 16. From that point on, matches will be single-elimination.
