Cole Palmer Shines As Chelsea Draw Crystal Palace 1-1

Cole Palmer continues to make headlines in the Premier League with another impressive performance for Chelsea in their match against Crystal Palace.

The young English midfielder played a key role in Chelsea’s attack, demonstrating his skill and vision on the field. Palmer, who has become an integral part of the team, once again contributed significantly with his assists, helping the Blues maintain their attacking momentum.

In the game against Crystal Palace, Palmer set up Nicolas Jackson for his second goal of the season. Receiving the ball from Noni Madueke, Palmer delivered a precise square pass to Jackson, who slid in to score.

This marked Palmer’s fourth assist in Chelsea’s first three Premier League games, placing him among an elite group of players in Premier League history.

Only four players—Ruel Fox, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Harry Kane, and Paul Pogba—have recorded more assists in their teams’ opening three matches of a season, each with five assists.

Despite Palmer’s efforts, Chelsea’s match against Crystal Palace ended with a 1-1 draw. Palace equalized in the second half with a stunning strike from Eberechi Eze, which set up a tense finish to the game.

Jackson’s goal celebration was especially meaningful, as it followed his signing of a new nine-year contract with Chelsea, highlighting the club’s belief in his potential.
