EPL: Chelsea Miss Chance to Strengthen Top-Four Hopes After Goalless Draw at Brentford

Chelsea’s top-four hopes were dealt a blow after a 0-0 draw at Brentford on April 6, 2025. Despite being in the thick of the Champions League race, Chelsea failed to break the deadlock in a lackluster performance.

Head coach Enzo Maresca sparked debate by leaving Cole Palmer on the bench for much of the match, which saw the Blues struggle to create chances.

Palmer, brought on in the second half, had a chance to score but fired over the bar. With Chelsea winless in away games since December, the result raised concerns over their form.
