EPL: Fulham End Liverpool Unbeaten League Run to Delay Title Party

Fulham ended Liverpool’s impressive unbeaten league streak with a 3-2 victory at Craven Cottage on April 6, 2025. The result dealt a blow to Liverpool’s title hopes, as they now need 11 points from their remaining eight matches to secure a record-equalling 20th top-flight title.

Liverpool had taken the lead with a stunning long-range strike from Alexis Mac Allister in the 14th minute. However, poor defending allowed Fulham to turn the game around in a 14-minute spell. Ryan Sessegnon, Alex Iwobi, and Rodrigo Muniz scored for Fulham, giving them the lead.

Despite a late push from Liverpool, including a goal from Luis Diaz, Fulham held on for the win. The result lifted Fulham to eighth place, just three points from the top five, as they push for a Champions League spot.
