EXCLUSIVE: Nigerian Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Dies in London after Gastric Bypass Surgery

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart and representative of Anambra South, has passed away in London after a bypass surgery operation.

An earlier reports indicated that Ubah died in a hotel in London, United Kingdom, where he had traveled just two days prior but Empowered Newswire reports that he had undergone gastric bypass surgery.

Informed Sources reveal that Ubah had recently undergone a gastric bypass surgery—a procedure designed to assist with significant weight loss by altering the way the stomach and small intestine process food. The surgery, which reduces the size of the stomach, was part of his health management efforts.

Ubah had undergone a previous bypass surgery only a fee years ago, according to his friends who confirmed this to Empowered Newswire.

Ubah’s passing comes shortly after a notable donation from his campaign council to the APC in Anambra State. Just days ago, the Senator’s campaign council made financial contributions to strengthen the party.

He is said to be nursing political ambitions of becoming the State Governor.
