Five Feared Dead in Late-Night Ibadan Crash

A tragic road accident late Thursday night has left five people feared dead in the Akobo area of Ibadan, Oyo State. The fatal collision occurred near the General Gas Area, directly across from the NNPCL Filling Station, between 11:00 p.m. and midnight.

According to reports, the crash involved a commercial Nissan Micra carrying five passengers and a large truck. Witnesses at the scene described the aftermath as devastating, with the smaller vehicle heavily damaged from the impact.

Authorities have yet to confirm the identities of the driver and passengers involved in the accident. However, it is believed that all five occupants of the Micra lost their lives in the collision. Eyewitnesses reported that emergency responders were on the scene, but their efforts to save lives were unsuccessful due to the severity of the crash.
