MultiChoice Nigeria has informed its customers of upcoming price adjustments for its DStv and GOtv services, effective March 1, 2025. The company stated that this change is necessary to continue providing high-quality local and international content using the latest technology.
Under the new pricing structure, the DStv Premium package will increase from N37,000 to N44,500, the Compact Plus package will rise from N25,000 to N30,000, and the Compact package will go from N15,700 to N19,000. For GOtv subscribers, the Supa Plus package will see an increase from N15,700 to N18,500, while the Supa package will move from N9,600 to N11,500.
The company noted that the decision to adjust prices was driven by the rising costs of business operations, including content acquisition and infrastructure maintenance. In a previous communication, MultiChoice stated: “We understand the impact this change may have on you – our valued customer, but the rise in the cost of business operations has led us to make this difficult decision.”
