The prestigious socio-cultural organization representing the Igbo people of Nigeria, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has announced its new executive leadership following a successful election.
The event, held at the Old Government Lodge on Abakiliki Road, Enugu, on January 10, 2025, marks a pivotal moment in the group’s history.
Senator John Azuta Mbata emerged as the President General, succeeding Nze Ozichukwu. His election is seen as a turning point for Ohanaeze Ndigbo, with many hopeful for a future of greater unity, development, and progress for the Igbo community.
