Victor Osimhen has addressed growing rumours about a possible switch to Juventus, following his remarkable loan spell at Turkish giants Galatasaray. The Nigerian striker, currently on loan from Napoli, has enjoyed an incredible run of form in the Turkish Super Lig, drawing attention from major clubs across Europe.
Reports in recent weeks have linked Osimhen with a move away from Galatasaray at the end of the season. Top European clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus are said to be keeping a close eye on the forward, whose performances have made headlines throughout the 2025 campaign.
In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb on Friday, the Super Eagles star chose to remain grounded when asked about the transfer rumours.
“There are always rumours about me, but I live in the moment. Now I’m enjoying all this. The fans have supported me in an incredible way. Not only me, but also my teammates and my family. The best decision for everyone will be made. But Galatasaray will always remain in my heart,” he said.
Osimhen’s form this year has been nothing short of sensational. He scored his 17th goal of the year on Friday during Galatasaray’s key match against Samsunspor. His latest goal has now put him in joint-third among Europe’s top scorers in 2025, alongside Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres.
He now sits above renowned names like Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, who has 14 goals, and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy with 13 goals. Only PSG’s Ousmane Dembele (24 goals) and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe (19 goals) have found the net more times than the Nigerian this calendar year.
Friday’s match at Samsun 19 Mayis Stadium was especially important for Galatasaray, who were eager to bounce back after a derby loss to Besiktas. With Osimhen leading the line, Okan Buruk’s team managed to hold onto their slim lead at the top of the table.
