Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has appointed Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG). The announcement was made on Friday at the Government House in Lafia, the state capital.
Before his new role, Magaji served as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in the state. During his time in that position, he was involved in several legal reforms and contributed to strengthening the justice system in Nasarawa.
Governor Sule had earlier in the year announced the dissolution of his cabinet during an emergency state executive council meeting. The Governor explained that the move was necessary to accommodate certain people and give everyone a sense of belonging.
