Armed gunmen believed to be kidnappers attacked the Chikakore area of Kubwa in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) early Monday morning. The raid, which occurred at around midnight, resulted in the abduction of a man, his wife, their son, and two other individuals.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that approximately 30 armed men stormed the residence of Mr. Adefija Michael Akinropo, targeting him, his family, and his elder brother. All were forcibly taken by the attackers, who wielded AK-47 rifles.
The violence did not end there. The gunmen reportedly moved on to another building in the same area, which houses a poultry farm. During this second attack, a man was kidnapped, and his wife was left injured. The identities of the victims at the poultry farm were not immediately confirmed.
