House Help Confesses to Murder of Judge’s Daughter – Police Source

A shocking confession has come to light regarding the murder of Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia. According to a police source who spoke with PUNCH, one of her domestic workers has admitted to being involved in her death.

The tragic event took place in the upscale Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos State. Aribemchukwu, affectionately known as Chuchu, was found dead outside her home on Wednesday morning. Reports suggest that she was murdered the previous night.

Following the discovery, authorities arrested her three domestic employees: a house help, a security guard, and a driver. During the investigation, the house help reportedly confessed to the crime.

The police source revealed, “The deceased was killed in her room and her body was dragged to the front of the gate to make it look like she was killed on the spot. After that, all the blood stains were carefully cleaned but still, they missed some spots. They did not clean it well because it happened at night.”

The source further detailed that the suspects tried to clean the crime scene but left behind traces of blood due to the hurried nature of their actions at night. The house help’s confession matched the evidence found by the police.

The motive behind the murder appears to involve theft, as the suspects allegedly stole the deceased’s valuables after killing her.

State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that investigations are still ongoing. He stated, “Investigations are still ongoing on the incident. We will provide updates as soon as there are more developments.”
