Kano State’s recently dismissed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, has revealed that he possesses substantial evidence against Governor Abba Yusuf and his mentor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
The former SSG stated he has recordings, videos, and documents that could expose their alleged misconduct.
Bichi made these revelations during a public address on Thursday, marking his first statement since his removal from office in December 2024. Alongside Bichi, five other commissioners were also dismissed by the governor.
Speaking to a crowd of supporters upon his return from Saudi Arabia, Bichi expressed confidence in his actions during his time in office. He hinted that his dismissal was politically motivated and promised to disclose what he described as the deceptive nature of his former political allies.
He said; “I’m happy that I have finished my tenure in peace. As you know, this is not the best time to talk, but at the appropriate time we will expose them so that people will understand the kind of people they are.
“They are not trustworthy people. They’re very deceptive. They don’t know anything except treachery and betrayal. They are not people to be trusted.
“We have documented everything from written to audio and video evidence.”
