I Have Concrete Evidence Against Your Husband – Senator Natasha Tells Akpabio’s Wife

Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has insisted that she has solid proof to back up her sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The controversy began when Akpoti-Uduaghan reportedly refused to accept a new sitting arrangement in the Senate chamber, which allegedly led to a fallout between her and Akpabio. The dispute took a more serious turn when she publicly accused Akpabio of victimizing her after she rejected his alleged sexual advances.

She claims that since turning him down, Akpabio has deliberately ignored her motions, intimidated her, and tarnished her reputation.

In response, Akpabio’s wife, Unoma Akpabio, dismissed the allegations, accusing Akpoti-Uduaghan of making up stories for personal benefit. She stated that the senator was spreading false claims against her husband.

However, Akpoti-Uduaghan has warned Unoma to stay out of the issue, insisting that her accusations are solely against the Senate President and that he should be the one to respond. In a legal letter dated March 1, 2025, and addressed to Unoma through her lawyer, Victor Giwa, the senator advised her to distance herself from the matter to protect her well-being.

The letter stated: “Our client has concrete evidence to substantiate her allegations. We suggest that you leave the defense of these allegations to the Senate President to maintain your sanity and that of your family.”

Despite the warning, Unoma has taken legal action against Akpoti-Uduaghan. She has filed a lawsuit at the Federal Capital Territory High Court, accusing the senator of defamation and violating her fundamental rights.

As part of the lawsuit, Unoma is seeking N350 billion in damages.
