“I Lost My Identity and Dreams” Caroline Hutchings Opens Up About Life After Divorce from Musa Danjuma

Scottish-Nigerian actress Caroline Hutchings has shared an emotional account of her life following her divorce from ex-husband Musa Danjuma. In a heartfelt post on Instagram on Wednesday, Hutchings detailed the profound impact the separation had on her personal and professional life.

Hutchings, who was once known for her successful career as a makeup artist, hair stylist, actress, film producer, and fashion consultant, revealed how the divorce forced her to start over.

“I was once a promising makeup artist and hair guru, actress, film producer and fashion consultant. CEO Luxury Addict, CEO Kinetic Media. But I lost my identity and dreams because of divorce,” she wrote.

Reflecting on her experience, Hutchings described how she had to rebuild her life from the ground up. The process was fraught with challenges, including facing false rumors, discrimination, and rejection. “I walked away from it all for my own sanity. I started my journey from scratch facing all the fake rumors, discriminations, rejections and uncertainties at 29+ years,” she shared.

Hutchings expressed that her journey post-divorce is a topic many women who have been through similar experiences find difficult to discuss. “A conversation that women who have walked the same path hate to talk about. A bittersweet journey to a place unknown. This is my story,” she added.

Caroline Hutchings and Musa Danjuma were married in 2007 and their divorce was announced in 2016, marking the end of their nine-year union.
