Ibom Air Resumes Flights to Enugu

Ibom Air is set to resume its flight services to and from Enugu starting from Sunday, May 4, 2025. This comes after the reopening of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, which had been temporarily closed for repairs.

The airline made the announcement following an official notification from the Nigerian aviation authorities. On April 28, 2025, a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) was issued, confirming that Runway 08/26 at the airport had resumed normal operations, allowing flights to take place once again.

In a statement, Ibom Air assured the public that it would be reinstating all its scheduled flights to Enugu.

“Consequently, all scheduled Ibom Air flights to and from Enugu from May 4 onwards have been reinstated. Our Customer Service Team is actively reaching out to affected passengers to facilitate rebooking and alternative travel arrangements where necessary,” the airline said.
