I’m a Chosen: “I Don’t Want To Speak Evil” – Pastor Lazarus Muoka Warns VeryDarkMan Over Criticism of Church

The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has issued a stern warning to controversial social media personality, Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan. Muoka cautioned the influencer to stop making negative remarks about his church, warning that such actions could lead to severe consequences.

In a recent video shared by PUNCH Online, Muoka addressed his congregation about the ongoing controversy, stating, “VeryDarkMan is learning something today in a hard way.” His remarks come in response to statements made by the influencer regarding some of the church’s unusual testimonies that had gone viral on social media in recent weeks.

These testimonies, which surfaced last month, featured extraordinary claims made by members of The Lord’s Chosen Church. One member claimed that a lion miraculously saved him from kidnappers. Another member shared how she overpowered armed robbers by seizing their AK-47 rifles and causing the arrest of three attackers. A third testimony involved a man surviving a kidnapping, machete attacks, and gunshots without sustaining any injuries.

In reaction to these claims, VeryDarkMan expressed strong disapproval, calling for an investigation by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). He accused the church of promoting exaggerated and misleading stories, raising doubts about the authenticity of the testimonies. He also hinted at taking legal action against the church for misleading the public.

Pastor Muoka, however, maintained a firm stance, refusing to speak ill of VeryDarkMan but cautioning him against continuing his criticisms. Muoka said, “Somebody came to talk to me and said ‘Pastor, do you see this man that is talking against us? The man said Chosen people will learn something the hard way,” he said.

“And he mentioned the name of the man and he is called VeryDarkMan. I said no, Chosen will not learn something the hard way and that he is the one who will learn something the hard way.

“I didn’t speak evil of him. I only made a statement. I don’t want to speak evil, because if I say anything negative or evil, it will happen immediately.

“I cannot speak evil against any man but I’m telling you that VeryDarkMan is learning something today the hard way. I didn’t say that in order to punish him, I only said what he said. If God’s anointed gets angry with you, you are finished.”
