I’m Homeless, My Management Stole All My Money – Nigerian Actress Aunty Ramota Cries Out

Nigerian actress Ramota Adetu, widely recognized as Aunty Ramota, recently opened up about her financial troubles and lack of stable housing.

Known for her humor and charm in Yoruba films, Aunty Ramota has become a beloved figure in Nigerian entertainment.

However, she now faces significant hardship, including homelessness and accusations of financial exploitation by her management team.

In a video that has since gone viral, Aunty Ramota shared her current plight. She revealed that she was asked to leave her previous residence, where she had been staying with a woman who recently got married.

According to Aunty Ramota, the woman’s new husband was uncomfortable with her presence in their home, leading to the difficult decision of asking her to move out.

“I am currently stranded without accommodation. The lady I was staying with got married last month, and she asked me to leave because her husband was not comfortable with me staying there,” she explained in the video.

Further complicating her situation, Aunty Ramota disclosed that her efforts to build a home of her own have come to a halt. She had been relying on a benefactor to assist with the construction of a house, but unfortunately, the individual had to stop due to unforeseen personal issues. This setback has left her without a permanent place to live.

Additionally, Aunty Ramota alleged that her management team mismanaged her earnings and even tampered with her social media presence. According to her, the team mishandled her funds, withholding her actual earnings from her.

She accused them of deleting her TikTok account along with other social media platforms, which affected her income sources and connection with fans.

“To make things worse, my management stole all the money I had. They even deleted my TikTok and every other social media account,” Aunty Ramota said. “I worked so hard, but they kept cheating me because they thought I would not know how much we were really making.”

Despite her financial troubles, Aunty Ramota has not given up hope. Someone has offered to rent a place for her, but she is determined to complete her unfinished home project, even if it’s just a single room, so she can have a space she can call her own.

She shared, “Someone kindly offered to rent a space for me, but I told them I want to finish building my house, even if it’s just one room, so I can finally have a place to call my own.”
