Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari shared insights into his current life and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing efforts of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The video, which was shared by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), captured Buhari speaking during a visit to his residence in Daura by Khadijat Omotayo Kareem, a top aide to President Tinubu.
Buhari, who has been living in Daura for over a year, revealed that he feels content and secure in his new lifestyle. “I am quite safe here, and I have been here for more than a year,” Buhari stated.
He further explained that his daily routine includes working on his farm four days a week, which he finds fulfilling. This simple life, centered around farming, has brought him a sense of peace and satisfaction.
During the visit, Buhari also praised the efforts of Tinubu’s administration in addressing Nigeria’s ongoing challenges.
He commended the team’s work, offering them his congratulations and best wishes. “Thank you very much for the visit and congratulations for what you have been so doing. I wish you the best of luck,” he said.
